end play
it's called end play and yes there should be some..but if you get a dial indicator..set it up and measure the end play..then ask your local mechanic to look it up in the specs what is allowable...I would say that about 1/4" might be on the verge of excessive..but not knowing the end play specs...I hesitate to say that's it.......
find out what the spec's say and that will give a difinitive answer....
