Default Props

I have a 19P mercury rev4 and I really like it. If you have V6 or V8 power you may want to consider one. More expensive than aluminum but worth it!

What are the key aims that you want to achieve? What boat and engine do you have right now?

Thanks for the replies.
Setup is a 3.0LX / Alpha1 Gen2 on a 1994 2000SC. Current prop is 14.25x21 (3blades). I am able to get about 39mph (per GPS) @ WOT, which is respectable, but I seldom run at those speeds.

My main goal is to get better handling at cruising speeds (20mph).

From what I've read, seems like a 4 blade prop is the way to go. So, Im mainly looking to see if anyone has used or is currently using this prop, and what they think of it.

(Also, interestingly Maxum Spec is 13.75x19 - I think if I went to a 19 pitch, WOT would bump up to around 5000rpm... Merc spec calls for 4800 max... maybe my tach is hosed too...different thread I guess!)
