Alarm sounder

Hello all, Can anyone tell me if there are to different alarm sounders on a 3100SCR, one for each engine or is there just one for both?
Does anyone know how they wire in as to what color goes to where?
I have one hanging underneath by my fuse blocks with one wire connected and one wire just hanging, it has been this way since I bought the boat just figured I should probably fix it.

As far as I know mercruiser treats each engine separate, so there should be an alarm for each. The wires are purple and tan/blue.
