I have a 1996 Maxum 4100 Express cruiser. I’m looking for port hole screens, The door gasket for the sliding door and ice maker parts or new ice maker. If anyone knows where I can get these items, I would greatly appreciate advice.
Porthole screens are Bomar, however I haven't found screens for those hatches in years. We make our replacements. We take black flexible black cutting board material and make two frames, then contact cement a screen between the two frames and cut the frame to shape. Hopefully, you have one left.
Shrew, your fix for missing porthole screens is awesome. I will be giving it a go when I get the boat out of storage in 2 weeks. I'm thinking the grilling mat product will work great.
As long as the material is black to blend with the gasket and screen color; flexible enough to install; rigid enough to hold form; thin enough to fit in the groove, then you should be fine.
