I have a 2400 SCR and it have aheater just like a car. You have to have the motor running to have heat!!!
The switch is at the helm!
Hope this helps!
Please post your location and boat by clicking on your name and filling in that info!
It helps others to help you!!

Hey Don so you have a cabin heater that uses engine coolant as the heat source. Do you also have AC? Where is you blower installed in the cabin? From the literature I have Maxum only offered AC as an option like mine is equipped and in 27 footers and up it was reverse cycle so it give heat and AC.

Hi Mike!
Yes I have only engine coolant heater, no ac!
It is installed under the steps into the cabin, the switch is at the helm!
I think it was installed as part of the Cruising package! Not sure about that though! Will ck my documentaion when I can get in the boat! ( been laid up with the flu and am still not getting around to much).

I've never heard of, nor seen this feature. I suspect that is aftermarket.

Good morning Mike!
No it is not aftermarket!
I found some of the books that came with the boat and it shows as having the cruise option, that includes a cabin heater!
It does not state about having AC as an option!
I guess its the difference between a 95 and a 96!

OK, my mistake and my apologies. No need to yell at people with the exclamation points.
