93 2700 SCR radar arch bimini question

New here...just bought a 93 2700 SCR and the prior owner ran into something and damaged the radar arch so he then took it off. We have it now, it's quite busted up but we may get it repaired but it wouldn't be until over the winter or in spring. Is it possible to use the bimini top without the radar arch? It looks like there are the two poles to hold it up on each side and then it's supposed to snap to the arch, and also a short pole that balances on the arch to keep it up...so that part isn't possible. Want to be able use it for shade this weekend.

From what you have described the arch is required to attach the Bimini so it does sound like it can be used until the arch is repaired and installed.
