Default 3100se a/c

Hi all I have a 2004 3100SE new to me this year. One of the issues is with the A/C, it will cool and run fine for 5-6 hrs and then quits cooling. Pump is running with good water flow, fan runs but at lower speed. It seems that if I select a higher temp setting on the control panel like 83 degrees and let it run for 5-6 minutes and then select cooler temp like 70 degrees it starts cooling again and the fan goes back to a normal higher speed. Any suggestions? Strainer is clear btw.
Thanks all

Sounds like the coils are freezing up. It may be low on freon..

Is there a way to service freon or does it have to be taken to the "shop"?
Thanks Phillbo

Your going to need to call out a HVAC tech. There are mobile marine HVC techs out there.
