Default 3100 radar arch removal

Just purchased a 2004 3100 and peparing to ship aprox 200 miles, Kelowna to Delta BC. It has it's own tri axel trailer and I am concerned about the height. How hard is it to remove the radar arch.

First welcome to the website......

Most people will ask why you want to take the arch off? I pulled a 3000 200 miles in the midwest and didn't have to worry about it. Your height if you measure should be right around 12feet. Know in the states normal height is 13-6 for most bridges. So why take it off if you don't have to.

Thanks for the response
I don't want to take it off if I don't have to but I am unable to measure until I go up to pick up. I can only find a height listing of 12'9" and it must sit at least 12" when on the trailer. Maximum legal height is 13.6 ft. Just wondered how easy it would be to remove if I had to.

first off...welcome to the zoo..

well....it ain't easy but it can be done......you need to take the cockpit panels off the arch....you can access the top of the bolts from there...but your going to need some people to help catch it when it falls...but you should be ok as that's how they ship them ...most of the time with the radar arch on....my 340 came down from bellingham wash. to everett on a trailer...arch and eisenglass all on.....

good luck and take lotsa pic's
