Default 2400sr newbie

I have a chance to purchase a 2003 2400sr. I'm new to boating and don't know prices,can it tow skiers, and would like to know the ups and downs of this model before I make my first plunge..Is it to big for newbies? ball park price etc.I want to thank you all in advance! Steve

welcome to the zoo.....the 2400scr is a good pocket cruiser...it has room ...some comfort and although some might say it can pull a skier...I'd think it would pull a tuber better...the skier needs instant acceleration to get them out of the water...so..changing a prop out each time you were going to pull a skier would get old I'd think..just my opinion...

if your interested in only pulling skiers and tubers.....I'd go with the 2200sc...or even a 19ftr....v8..b3 drive if you can find one...

so...the main question is ..what are you going to use the boat for....cruising??..yes..the 2400 scr would make a great pocket cruiser.....to ski then a smaller open bow boat would work better for you...

just my opinion....
