Default 2400 SCR questions

I've been looking online at 2400 scr's between 2000-2005. Can anyone tell me what the real world fuel consumption is for these? Are there any known issues to look out for around these years? THanks!

seneca_lake welcome aboard.

I have a 1997 2400 SCR with 5.7LX 260 HP (GM 350 4bbl) cruising at ~3200 -3400 rpm I burn ~8 gallons per hour. I have owned mine for 6 years, as far as I know there are no issues with this model.

My 2003 2400 SCR real time numbers. 305 carb w/ alpha, 14.5 X 17 prop. 2094 gps miles, 993 gallons of fuel, 182 hours; equates to 2.11 mpg and a burn rate of 5.5 gph. This is a composite average as the time in no wake zones is probably 1/4th the time. The highest I've ever recorded was 7.1 gph. I cruise at 25 mph.
