2008 Maxum 2900SE Questions

I am in the process of bidding on this boat. I have a few questions. Here is what the boat has:

- twin 4.3 220 hp Fuel injected w/ Bravo III's - engines have 15 hrs. on them
- 5kw generator
- windless
- Garmin 5212 12" Touchscreen w/radar, sonar and color chartplotter
- cockpit fridge
- cockpit electric grill
- upgraded JBL stereo
- full camperback, no cockpit cover
- vacuu flush w/maserator
- fire extinguihing system
- Direct TV

Questions:

1- What do you think the resale value should be?

2- What should the cruising speed be at what RPM's?

3- What should top end speed be at what RPM's

welcome to the zoo....with twin 4.3ltr engines..it should cruise at about 25-30 mph...and we're talking on smooth water....with a full load and tankage...probably the same but may work a bit harder to get there...I'd probably go for something with a bit more hp and cubic inches myself...although I've had the 2700 scr with a 6.2 ltr....twin 6 cylinders may take up alot of room and work hard to get the same performance....a sea trial will tell you how well this boat runs ....wot should be between 4400-4800 rpm...probably has a wot speed of about 40mph...

sounds like a nice boat but with the twin 6 cylinders..I'd be worried about performance....


just my two braincells firing off...anyone else got experience with twin 6's??
