Default 2003 1750 sr $

Hi there,
Looking for some expert opinions. I'm looking at a 2003 1750 SR with 84 hrs on it, with the 3.0 L, 135 HP. It's at a dealership and they're asking $10,999 (US). NADA shows avg. price $5455.00. I realize the dealers will always shoot high but does this seem excessive? Any experiences on how much dealers will adjust their price would be appreciated.
Thanks for your time

Sorry, I made the mistake of reading the "Newbies Read First" section AFTER my first post. Hopefully I'll be able to purchase a Maxum soon and won't be one of the ones just picking your brains and leaving.

welcome to the zoo johnson.....I'd say that I'd go in and offer half...then walk away....if he's serious...he'll make a comeback offer...it's a buyers market right now and you can easily walk away......stick to your guns till you get the offer your looking for...
you gotta remember...dealers are scrapping for every dime they can get and they will put a nice used boat on the market at top dollar....you are in the drivers seat at this point in time...
