Default 1st Glimpse of New Boat

Our new boat has been on the road since last Friday. A long haul from Washington state to Florida. The dealer called this afternoon to tell me that the truck was coming down I-95 and was about 30 miles North of me. He would be passing my town on the way to the dealer.

So what did I do? I grabbed my camera and headed for the highway to see if I could catch a glimpse. I lucked out and was able to snap a quick picture as she roared by at 75 MPH. That is a Maxum at the front of the trailer.

The salesman stayed at the dealership after closing so I could get the inagural crawl around taken care of. Kind of tough to see things with the shrink wrap on but it was great to finally see. The shrink wrap comes off in the morning and the prep work begins.

It is going to be a busy week!

I know, it is a little extreme. But after hearing about this boat for over a month, I just had to see if it was real...
