Default 1998 SCR 3000 Owners Manual

I can't seem to find a manual for a 1998 scr 3000 which one is closer to the same a 1997 or 1999. If any body has a 1998 I would like to get a copy. Thanks.

We get this all the time......First welcome to our website Tommy. Have you looked under the document section on our front page?

Any questions you have about your boat we can for the most part answer for you. These manuals are really very plain in being specific. Meaning for the most part not worth the ink that they are written in.

So see if that helps and others will chime in here to help.

Roger

I seen a 99 on the Maxum site but I don't see a 98. It looks like the 99 is a closer match to a 98 than a 97 is. Thanks

Hello, I was reading your thread on the Maxum 3000 SCR 1999 manual.
Would you mind sharing a link with me also?
I just purchased a1998 3000 SCR .., Everyone on here seems to say the 1999 manual is the closet to the 1998.

Thank you in Advance for your help!

Go to Maxum Customer Care and look up 1999 manual that what I refer to as far as Mercruiser my buddy is a boat mechanic and does my engines and drives.

Hi! I tried PM'ing Shrew but didn't hear back. Maybe I am just having technical difficulties all the way around; however, I am pretty technical and computer savvy so not sure what is up. There were some photos on this site of a 1998 Maxum 3000 SCR (which we have) that showed a cockpit berth conversion. I know that our boat didn't come with those extra pads. Just wondered if anyone might know the best way to do this. I'm also trying to get the manual on this boat. I went to the Doc section. I don't see a 1998 but I think I tried downloading the 1999 and it said I was unauthorized (maybe?). Can't recall the message.

Come to think of it I believe you need to have more than 5 posts to be able to download. You’re almost there!

Once you post 5 times, you can get to documents and download the supplement manual. Covers the 3000.
