Can anyone tell me if my 1998 28SCR boat has an automatic bilge pump? I believe everything Is stock besides a new boat motor, so I wasn’t sure if it was auto or if I needed to run it periodically.
There should be two pumps, one in the engine compartment and the other in the forward bilge under the cabin floor. Both should to wired to a float as well as a switch at the helm. You should find each pump and float to manually activate them to verify they work.
