Default 1998 Maxum 2800 scr cabin table clete question

New boat to us this year. The clete was missing that holds the cabin table in place. I made up a piece of 1" plastic (starboard) to fit in the pocket and hold the table secure. Trouble is that when I lower the table down to make it a bed the clete is in the way of the table fitting properly and it falls out. I've been taking the clete off (2 screws) when needed but wondering if someone could take a pic or show me what the original should look like and how it is secured.
thanks,
BB

lawnman,
that does help. thank you.
would it be too much to ask the dimensions on it?
ideally I would need the width which I think is around 8", how much the drop down is (looks around 1 1/4" or so), depth (3" past drop down piece?)
so that piece stays on the counter when lowered in the bed position and doesn't hold you off the outside wall?
thanks!
