i was going to the Add-a-Battery kit too but with the wiring on my 1800SR, the "House" (helm fuses) is not separate from the Engine; it would be more of a House&Engine/Starter split instead of a House/Engine&Starter like in Blue Sea's diagrams.
Ultimately it didn't really make sense to split only the starter out since house battery would still be responsible for the engine, specifically the starter relay. So I'm going the traditional Off-1-Both-2 switch. YMMV.
The stock alternator puts out 65A I think, should be enough to charge both batteries provided they aren't completely tanked.
