Default 1997 Maxum 1700 Series
What size are the boat speakers in the 1997 1700 series? I also have a Garmin 12x12 marine GPS. Any good ideas on where I should install this? I'll attach a picture of the GPS off my buddies boat in the Keys. It looks like a TV, it's big. - Josh

A 12" display is going to be large for that boat.

That 12 inch display will probably not fit at the helm under the curvature of the windshield. It may fit at the port side.

Don't know about the speakers but probably 6 inch.

I suggest you take my 7" Raymarine and give me the 12" Garmin. The admiral is not happy with the proposal, but i'm willing to do it for a friend.
