Default 1996 1700 xr trailer leaf spring replacement

Hi,
My leaf spring broke on my trailer. I need a replacement. Anybody have specs on what I should buy? Size, weight capacity...the trailer is made by escort and trailer # is WT17G.

A local trailer shop can match it up if you take it to them. Important specs are the distance between the ends of the leaf and number of leafs.

Leaf springs are generic. Go to a trailer supply company. You need to know the type you have, the length and the number of leaves.

Look at the shape; Is it a Semi-eliptical (probably) or quarter eliptical, or 3/4 eliptical, etc?

Look at the ends; Is it a Double-Eye, OPen eye Slipper, etc?

What is the distance between eyes?

How many leaves?
