Default 1994 2400 scr cabin door

So my Cabin door (black plexiglass) is cracked in half, previous owners glued it together but its now falling apart and looks horrible? Any recomindations where I can have this door made? Or where I can find a big enough and thick enough piece of plexiglass/lexon to cut my own out?

I called the maxum dealer ship and they want $700 in my oppionion is overkill for a piece of plastic. What I really wouldnt mind getting is a white door from the newer 2400's. it looks to be the same just white plastic.

any suggestions?

Thanks

man...that's a tough one....have you tried fisheries supply dot com or maybe a local plastic company??...I know a good chunk of starboard would cost a fortune...so...to be honest..I don't have any idea where to get that large a chunk of plastic....
keep us informed on what you come up with..

I am sure if you check your yellow pages you can find a plastics company that makes plastic signs and etc. We have one where I live and they can make just about anything out of plastic. I bet you could take the old door to them and they could duplicate it.

Yeah I called a bunch of places around my area and they just dont seem to do that. I was also thinking the same thing, bring them the door and they replicate it. No one seems to want to do it.

What area are you located in? Could you give me the phone number to the place you are refering to? If no other choice I could ship the door out to them so they can remake it and then have them ship it back to me.

Thanks

Here is the place where I have ordered plastics from. I called them and they have lexan or Plexiglass up to 1/4" thick and can duplicate the holes and shape of the door. I am not sure if 1/4" would be thick enough for you.

Laird plastics in seattle has the lexan material, and so does TAP plastics in bellevue or seattle wa.

I need to have my hatch replaced as well. I was going to suggest TAP Plastics as well. Then I looked at the ad to the right of the post and it listed three plastic companies from Google. If they are near you, you might give one of them a try.
