Default 1993 Maxum 2300 scr HELP!!!!

My all. My name is Muff. I am a new member and new in boats...I have a 1993 Maxum 2300 SCR. I want to know a few thing about the boat being mine has been in the weather and the dash is faded awfully bad.
(1) the Cabin has two switches inside. 1 is for lights, what does the other control?

(2) What does the 2 black switches under the dash control.
(3) what does the two big white ROCKER SWITCHES on the panel control
(4) what does that doggle switch in the middle of the dash control & the one next to it.
Thanks for all help good folks.

Welcome aboard

Can you post some pictures as that will help to define the switches?

Does the boat have a fresh water system? If so that may be the switch in question 1.

The 2 switches under the helm are pressed together for overboard waste dump if equipped with a pump but should only be used off shore.

The 2 white switches at the helm are for trim tabs to adjust the boats trim.

If they do not light up when in the on position they are not getting power. Check the fuse. You may need to use a volt meter to troubleshoot.

Moved from the "New Member Introductions" sub-forum to the "General" Sub-forum.

If the two black switches under the dash are beside each other and are both [Momemtary On/Off] then that is more than likely for the macerator discharge to discharge the holding tank overboard.

The switches in the picture are for lights.

Pressure water pump for the faucets is usually an [on/off] rocker which is a lit read light.

But all the lights work on one switch. What other lights might the second switch work?

Starting a sentence with "But.." is a an argumentative statement. Are you debating that there should not be a second switch?? Crack the switch open and stat metering the circuits.

The two switches on my 3200 in the cabin are for the aft cabin light and the small courtesy light on the step down into the aft cabin

It really does not matter, try to match up mounting and hose placement to make it easy. Also match or exceed flow rate.

Look for a pressure water pump with a comparable flow rate (GPM). They all come with adapters to fit different diameter plumbing.

Second switch runs aft cabin lighting on my 92 2300SCR. Check for switches on the individual lights in the aft cabin.
