1993 Escort Trailer Questions
Hello again all,
Sorry, I am new to these forums and am finding a wealth of information, so I thought I would ask a couple trailer questions. I apologize if it is not in the correct forum.
I need to replace the bunks on my 93 Escort trailer. They are 8' long with a bracket on each end, none in the middle.
On the transom end, there are "Bunk Stiffeners" which are 30" long. They are a U-shaped channel between the bunk and the bracket.
Mine are rusted and I was thinking about replacing them. I found them online but they are kind of pricey with shipping and brackets.
Could someone tell me if they are necessary? I dont see them on any other trailers.
I was just going to put brackets on without the stiffeners.
Any thoughts/experience?
