Default 1989 Maxum Bowrider

Just picked up this boat powered by a 60 HP Mercury outboard. It was checked out by a local shop and i just had it delivered.

The fuel tank seems to be in the hull vs a portable setup I was expecting. Can you tell me how to access it and how much fuel it holds?

Welcome aboard!

These built in tanks only have limited access near the back end for hose and fuel sender connection. There is a fill deck plate the should be labeled gas.

I see the hose connection to the motor but can see the gas intake. Is it in the floor or on the gunwhales and if so approx where on the boat?

Thanks for your help....newbie boater!

Could be either side on the back of the boat or mid ships.

Thx for the replies...with the motor trimmed up, the gas intake is found near the motor mount, and was not visible because the motor cowl was in the way.
