Default '00 1900SR 5.0L V8 Alpha Outdrive - seems to lean left??

I just bought a 2000 Maxum 1900SR with the 220hp 5L V8 and had it out for the first time this past weekend. It seems to lean to the left most of the time even though the weight is balanced in the boat. It also turns sharper to the left (or turns differently should I say). I noticed my brother's Bayliner has an Anode Plate with a fin on it...mine is just a flat plate. Could this be the problem or do I have bigger issues I need to deal with? Any help is greatly appreciated.

you might need a torque compensating anode....they're cheap so you can get one and try it..but you might need trim tabs installed.....

Prop size can determine which anode you have. Some props wont clear the anode with the fin and you have to replace it with the flat one.
