OK so I recently hijacked my own thread on a water pump issue and shrew was nice enough to point out to me that I should be making a new thread.

I have the 2002 Maxum 3500, I have found these two items in the boat and dont know what they are for?, I have a rear salon that is two single beds and has a centre piece that is already in place to make it into a double bed, so its not for that, the board has a long piano hinge on it and only folds to a certain angle, the extra cushion looks like its for a seat but can not work out where, I have two sun beds on the bow and these are accounted for so the folding cushion is also a mystery? any thoughts would be appreciated

the board and cusion go to the rear cockpit seats in the back of the boat take out the small white table and post, and the board fits in grooves under the existing seat cusions to make the area a large sunpad

Thanks bjasin1 - I will try this when I'm at the boat next, the hinge was throwing me off what it could be used for I kept thinking it was a divider for something
Cheers

I'll have to check this out on my 98 2700SCR. I hadn't been able to figure out how this worked.
