Default Sliding door sticks in Maxum4100scb

hi there
I am hoping that someone can help me with a source for rollers for our glass sliding door in our Maxum 4100scb. it is really getting bad and the Jigaloo isnt working anymore. You really have to pull hard to get it moving along its track.
hope someone has suggestions.

Are the rollers similar to a sliding door in a home? I would think so. If so, take one off and go to a hardware store and see if they can match it up.

I don't have the same boat, however what I did was remove the door, removed the rollers, then scoured online and hardware stores until I found replacements. They will be slideing glass door rollers, but which ones is the question. I eventually found mine at Lowes.

Thanks for the fast replies. Here’s hoping it is not a huge job taking the door off!
Next...to tackle the door screen.

Most of the doors you need to remove the upper track, then lift the door off of the lower track. There is usually a plastic spacer/track that screws into the upper frame. You might need to remove the screws from one side with the door closed, then open the door to remove the screws from the other side, then slide the spacer/track out.

All doors are a little different, so I giving some generic directions that apply to many/most. Your's may differ.

Also look at the bottom of the door. Somtimes there is a hole at the bottom of each side that you can put a phillips head into. This will raise/lower the rollers. You may be able to lower the rollers enough to lift the door off of the bottom track. Some doors you might need to do both (remove the upper trace AND lower the rollers.

When you re-install the door, you're going to need to 'tune' the roller height to get the door the right height and level.
