Default Running antenna cable, test, and access into cabin.

Have a 1995 3200 SCR. Current project is to replace the small TV in the cabin with a flat screen. I picked that up. Also looking to replace the little antenna on the radar arch with a SeaWatch model. The coax cable runs down inside the arch, on the port side, then it goes where? Anyone know how it gets into the cabin? Its probably the original cable, anyway to test it for signal strength? I may look to just splice it inside the arch through the speaker access hole to give it the additional length need to reach the new antenna dish. But given the cable is 17 years old, was wondering if anyway to test for signal strength and how to run it into the cabin. Its definitely zip-tied so just pulling it through doesn't seem an option. Thanks.

I always start in the engine compartment. You'd be surprised how much access you have. Even if you can't reach it, you can often see it. Next step is to start taking stuff apart. It's not as bad as you think. In fact, once you start taking stuff apart you see how much of the interior cabin is really just an elaborate facade of sorts.
