Default Removing Screen Door on 4100 SCA

I just bought a 2000 4100 SCA and would like to replace the galley refrigerator. In order to get the old one out and the new one in, it looks as if I will have to take out the screen door from the cockpit area to the salon. The sliding door from the cockpit to the salon area also has a screen door. Does anyone know how to remove the screen door ?

Welcome aboard

Not familiar with this model but can you remove the frig door and make it fit without removing the screen door?

Default Removing Screen Door on 4100 SCA

Thanks for the reply MMWJR. I have measured the frig and the dimensions without the door end up being about 1-1/2 inches too wide. I can probably take the old frig apart and fit it through but the new one coming in will not fit.

Been there, done that. Not bad at all.

1- Remove Ice Maker located in sunroom.
2- Stick your head inside and look down at door tracks
3- BOTH doors have a #3 screw holding a King Starboard door stop
4- Remove them both
5- Both Screen and hard door slide completely into pocket

You now have complete width to get your new refrig into the salon.

Good luck!

I have done so many modifications to my 4100 SCA that I can't remember them all!
