I like to remove and store as many seat cushions as I can indoors for the winter. I have never been able to remove the port seatback.....I would think it slides up like the rest but it does not. Does anyone know how to remove it?? 2005 3300 SE
RandR welcome aboard! I'm going to play devils advocate here but why? Why put yourself though all the trouble when they will be just fine if stored properly for the winter. I have a 01 3000 scr and in 17 years of use I had to get one cushion refoamed. From inside storage to being shrinked wrapped through the years the cushions have survived. Ive used Babes upholstery cleaner and conditioner with great results. I even leave my batteries in the boat.
I sure someone will have an idea how to get your seat off. So food for thought!
I agree with Roger to leave seats in. I'm taking some of cabin seats out to redo this winter. Other wise I leave them in. I also open any cuppoards and seats to let air circulate. Also use bounce fabric sheets ( mice don't like them and they smell nice) never had a mouse in boat yet. I leave batteries in and main breaker with only battery breaker on. Then once a month or so I plug shore power in for a few hours to keep batteries charged. Has worked great for many years and never a problem.
The front of the seat needs to be tilted up and then it will slide off. HOWEVER, the plastic bracket that holds the metal plate (that is attached to the seat) can break very easily and is not readily available. It is a terrible design and is best left alone.
