We are going to look at a 1996 4100 SCR this week. It is advertised as one of ten prototypes for this model to be built thru 1999. Does anyone have any input on buying a prototype? It seems to be pretty well loaded and has twin cummins 320's.

Thanks. As a former owner a survey is a must. It not only will give you valuable info about the boat but will lower insurance costs, Not to mention it is usually a requirement for financing.

How did it go, I have a 1996 4100 SCR, interesting when the model began in 1997. The boat works well but it has some electrical gremlins from things being disconnected rather than fixed in her life, slowly putting her back to normal
