If you have a resource, then just post the resource so everyone can benefit.

If you have one, you can make copies. I use very, very flexible black cutting board material. Cut two frames using the existing screen as a template. Using contact cement sandwhich screen material between the two flexible frames.

Once the contact cement is fully setup, install. It will require some fine tuning to trim the shape exactly. I've been making them for years.

Contact Bomar and give them height and width or length of outside trim and inside if you want. They run $9 to $17 each. A picture always helps along with the year and make of boat.

Default Bomar screens

Sorry, I'll look for contact info and post later. Contacting Bomar is easy but I found a lady that used to work for maxum as a supplier. Not sure if she's even alive anymore. She was a huge help on parts. It may take a few days to locate my actual resources. I will update for all if I can. Thanks for the choaching.

Sorry guys, my contact has passed. But again if you contac Boma and give them a pic of port window and dimensions, height and width along with make and year if boat, you should be fine.

Looking for a source to provide a screen for the 20" round BOMAR hatch on a 2006 Maxum 2100SC. There are 4 tabs on the inside of the hatch rim where the screen should fasten to. I have looked on BOMAR's website which directs you to Pompanette, LLC's catalog that shows the entire hatch as a kit. I need just the screen. Thanks

I just called BOMAR, they do sell the individual screen but at a premium price since they're the manufacturer.

Not to thread hijack, but the fact that BOMAR is helpful and responsive is helpful to me, so thank you! Need to contact them about the cracked strut rod base on my hatch frame.

Current contact info from their website:

Hi anyone know where I can get a new windscreen starboard front with green tint. My boat is a 2700SE year 2007, if not new any other options would be a great help. Is there any other boat with the same size possibly a 2400 or 2900?

I had a Maxum 4600 and trying to get factory original spares was virtually impossible, assuming you are in the UK. I'd make up a template and get one made, I've done it before on a couple of sports boats, most sign companies have CNC machines to cut perspex, or similar.

The difficulty will be matching the colour, no doubt it will have slightly faded from the original anyway.

Hope that helps...

There are only 14 posts in this thread, not including this one and the one I'm quoting.

If you go back to the first post and read all 14 subsequent posts, I think you'll find two possible solutions to your problem.
