Origo Stove top button missing

I have an Origo 4300 E gas electric stove in my boat and the vinyl screen covering one of the "on" buttons is ripped and missing. I understand this can be taken off and replaced but the manufacturer says they are out of stock and no long available. Can anyone come up with an idea to replace the button hole that is now evident on the stove top so it at least looks better?
