Hate to hear as we are still on our original units. Both are working fine but that could change without notice. Hope it all go well for you. Let us know how the additional BTUs do. Until it gets really hot we rarely run the forward unit, especially at night.

Got it in the water today. New unit will not work on the old control. Had to go to real work so I hooked up the New control and it started great. Will try to leave the cable in place and hook up the control correctly this week end and hope I do not need to run the cable if you need advise on getting the old ac unit out when it dies give me an e-mail and I will tell you what you need to do

Shrew
I had no intention of going outside the forum. If you are sending this because I used the word e-mail it was not my intention and if you are the one that sent me and nasty e-mail to my e-mail address please notice they I did not include that address in the above message. Who promoted you to fourm police? And after checking My e-mail account it appears that that message also came for you. Please be advised that My intent of using this site is to help myself and other boat owners find and fix problems and please keep your ego in check
