my only suggestion is this
when cruising slow 5 to 8 MPH we shut down one of the two engines and burn very little fuel , I never run my engine greater thean 1900 rpm.
we learned this trick from a Maxum owner in Canada , we have travelled around the great loop , over 6700 miles in our 33fter and we are running fine !
