Default Mounting a barbecue on a 3300???

I am looking for ideas of where to mount a BBQ. I have been thinking on the swim deck on starboard side, back corner but the fuel fill and fuel vent is on that side. Any suggestions ??

I had the same dilemma on mine I have a 3200, I ended up mounting mine on the port side of the swim platform away from my fuel vent and filler. It works very well just don't forget to take it in when not in use. One of the guys from my marina lost his because he forgot to remove it when underway.

Gas vapor is heavier than air. Any vented gas vapor will drop to the water, not rise to your grill. However, I also mounted mine opposite the fuel vent.

Is the swim deck thick enough just to screw a pedestal base to it or do you have to go underneath and plate it

Pedestal base? What barbeque are you looking at? Mine mounts on the railing along the top of the transom and stows nicely under the helm seat.

Are you using a marine grill?

It's a camping grill that's a little smaller than the big magma Gourmet grill and it's stows in the engine compartment on top of the waste tank The barbecue grill is all stainless steel and I paid $79 for a brand-new call me cheap but I'd rather spend my money elsewhere I had thought about mounting it on the grab handles on the back of the boat but I was afraid of that heat being too close to the fiberglass so I seen the pedestal mount that magna uses to mount their barbecues to the swim platform but I wanted to see if there's any other ideas out there

Mine is on the railing, and I have no problems with heat. My dad mounted a pedestal grill on his boat, and I think it looks awful. Always in the way, taking up space.

When mine is put away, there is just a little square bracket on the railing.

Only thing, I can't grill with the eisenglass down, however... If the eisenglass is down, its probably because its raining, and I don't really want to grill anyway.

You should be able to get away with washers for that application. you shouldn't need a backing plate, unless the grill mount is going to double as a ski pylon.
