Default Mid bilge? 3700 SCR

OK I have a few what I guess to be pumps in the middle of my boat in a cubby hole in my gally and I however they don't seem to be running or making any noise

here are some pics

There appears to be 3 pumps
one is sahara series s500 model 4505

the blue one says sure bail and I'm not sure of the red one

where would I possibly find the switch and the fuses for it I found the fuses for auto bilge aft and mid but they are fine

The first one is the shower pump, the switch is in the hear or separate shower if you have one. There is a float so it will not pump until enough water fill that plastic box to turn it on.

The second is a forward bilge pump. There should be a switch at the helm that will turn it on otherwise that blue box is the float and enough water must be present to turn it on. The float should also have a test button that you press to flip on the float.

Ok so I have found out the one that is in the box does require the batteries to be on how ever the red pump doesn't seem to be coming on with any power source

The box pump is not attached to my shower, it pumps out underneath the passenger seat in the rear birth

I did forget to put in the title that it is a 1999 3700scr

The "box pump" is a sump pump. Any cabin drain water (shower, sink, etc) goes there IF the plumbing is below the water line and wouldn't allow the water drain overboard. Most of the sump pump system is wired in a way that the battery switches must be on, and sump pump switches, if there are any, must stay on to function.

The red one is a bilge pump. The bilge pumps are hot wired from the batteries and they will function even with the battery switches off for obvious safety reasons.

TJK that is exactly right however the sink in my 2001 35 Maxum drains overboard but the shower drains through the sump box so it is a weird setup. I believe in later models they changed the format so both sink and shower drained through the sump box. The wiring in the photo looks a bit of a mess I wonder if it has been modified.

Your current set up is correct. The shower floor drain is close to the water line so the plumbing goes at or below the water line. The drain water will have to drains down to the sump pump first, then it gets pumped out.

check fuse block under the small sink compartment behind outside port seat the blue sure bail looks like a float switch. The front sump box is coming from a/c unit under v-berth.
