Default Maxum 4200 beam

Most internet listings and websites claim that the Maxum 4200 is 14' 10'', but I have found some original (PDF) brochures that state the beam is 13' 10''.

Anyone know which number is correct width of the 4200? I don't have one of my own (yet) to measure.

I would agree with the 13'10 as I have a 16ft slip and it has at least 1 foot on each side. When we had it transported they said it was 14ft also. Never measured, read it was basically 14ft, not 15.

Thank you for the quick reply. However, Stl, you have a 4100. Was the same hull used for the newer 4200 model? If not, I would be interested in a 4200 owner's verification of the 4200's beam.

I want to get a shipping quote, but the price difference between 14' and 15' wide boat is significant. I need to be sure.
