I must have pumped out many times, and yet I always forget that the waste tank cap doesn't have a tether. This past friday, I learned the hard way, it fell in the water. After many attempts to try and find it, I came up short. Its on a 95 3200 scr. I picked up a black plastic one (perko) from my marina, but would really like the metal type. In fact, from a distance, the black cap makes it look like its missing altogether. These seem to be specific in size, shape, and thread size. Anyone know how to find one that matches and where I could get one?

Try Defender, West Marine, JamesTown Distributor, etc. I think those are Perko's. Verify the hose size and the deck cap size and you should be all set.

Try Great Lakes Skipper, I picked up the whole unit for less than the price of the cap and just used the cap. Here's a link, if it isn't like this check the rest of there site.
