Default How to take off the captain's chair on 2000 maxum scr3300

I'm re-doing the seats and can't seem to get the captains seat off. It seems like you have to go through the ceiling in the cabin. Can you just pull off the back without removing the bottom? Many thanks

Can you remove the slide stops and slide it out?

the ends of the slide rail are glued/bolted down. I loosened the back of the chair but can't even get that all of the way off. I will try again this weekend.

What shrew asked is if you can remove the stop at the end of the slide then slide the two halves until they separate. The bolted down half of the slide would stay on the boat and the upper half would come off with the seat.
