Default Hot wire for fwd bilge pump

Hello all!
I have replaced the fwd bikge pump and float switch on my 96 3200SCR.
The circuit from the switch on the panyl works however the full time hot wire (brown w/red stripe) thst goes to the float switch is dead.
The hard part is i cannot find this wire once it goes up the indide wall of the head towards the helm.
It should land on the fuse panel but the schematic says "to battery"???
Any ideas where to find the othe end if tgis wire?

Not sure but it may go directly to the battery or batt 1 of the switch and have an inline fuse. I would look around there.

I would think that both the float switch and dash switch would route through the same fuse. How was the dash switch working when the FWD bilge fuse was blown?? Where is that fuse??

The fuse for the switched position is in the fuse panel at the helm.
The float switch is a completely different circuit, that stays hot all the time.

Hot all the time and fused are mutually exclusive topics. Where is the fuse for that circuit?

Two fuses Speakrdude is right. One under the sink, one under the helm.
