Default Fuel tanks

Both fuel tanks on my 1996 3900 scr have leaks. I have to replace them i guess but does anyone know a better way than ripping out motors and installing new tanks?

Did you look at liners? Not sure who does them in the USA but I'm sure google will suggest some options

Not sure about the specifics of your model but it’s probably cheaper to cut up the deck and repair it to replace the tanks rather than pull engines.

And yes they do need replaced, no sense messing around. It’s really not that bad in the grand scheme of things.
