Fresh water filter location

The manual says that you should clean the filter often. Where is it and does anyone else clean theirs?

Keith, what model boat do you have? My fresh water filter is connected to my fresh water pump. I clean it once a year.

Keith first welcome and second in a general sense here find the pump and you should see a clear plastic cover on the pump. That screws off and there might be a flat wire filter.

Just take soap and water to clean. Make sure the pump is turned off therefore you will have no pressure. You have not told us the type of boat you have. That might help also.
