Default Circular shower gap?

Well I have just join the Maxum family, I have purchased a 1999 Maxum 3700 SCR.

I would like to get some answers about this gap that I have between the shower door and the wall, I have taken a shower and there is a lot of water toward the door and the head. I would like a suggestion on how to keep it in towards the drain and in the shower if possible.

Here are some pics of the gap.

Interesting, I can see the pictures.

I'd take the measurement for height, then go to a plexiglass fabricator and have them make you a strip approx 6' x 3", then mount it on the inside (of the shower) like a splash guard. The overlap should be sufficient to prevent getting so much water into the head area.

Not sure how neat it would look but how about a shower screen seal, a quick google brought this site up. My side of the pond but I'm sure there are similar in the USA.

You just need something to stop the water flowing through that gap.

My dayhead/guest shower has a similar setup, except the circular door closes far enough so that there is no "gap" like yours. However, some water on the shower floor still leaks out to the head area. It is just a bad design...
