I changed all the carpets in my 4600 SCB. If you decide to do it, do yourself a favor and go for a darker color. You will be so much happier in the long run. It sucks being a slave to to stains on a light carpet.

What type of carpet did you use? Do you have pictures? Thinking of changing out the carpet on my 4100 SCB

Unfortunately I went for the light colored carpet and then had runners made after I had some people spill drinks. I glued the plastic runners with spikes to the bottom of the runners to keep them from sliding. I used JTC Carpets out of Bayshore, Long Island NY

No. Those are the replacements with matching runners. I had a friend that used a darker brown carpet which looked beautiful and didn't show stains. Much better in the long run and less dated.

Why not wood.... adds a little weight but much more durable than carpet and red wine doesn't faze it. Attached are a few pics.

I have a full roll of original 41 SCA brown carpet. Stored at my house for years and now in storage locker. Can send pics if interested. Let me know...never in sun or weather.
