Default Broken Exhaust Vent Covers on 4600 Deck

Hi Everyone,
I am looking to replace a broken vent cover on the port side of the deck. I would like to get 2 so that when the other breaks, I have a second. I have had limited success in finding a source for them. US Marine parts list cross references the original part but no luck. If anyone has any advice as to where they have found parts I would love the reccomendation

Best of luck is all I can say.

Are they fiberglass or plastic?

Either way you'll probably need to find a shop that can custom make them.

MasVino, I understand if you want the originals but can you take the broken one off and get two that match as close as possible. I've replaced lights etc which I couldn't get for a more modern design and/or performance. I believe I read somewhere about installing solar vents to create a constant trickle extraction.

Is this what you are looking for? West Marine has it. I just replaced mine, both sides.

"constant trickle extraction"

Please explain. No clue what that means.

They have a solar cell on the outside and small fan built in, essentially they are mechanically extracting air as long as there is sunlight.

I think I read it it on a post about a smell from pipes in the toilet, personally I'd just change the pipes but if your boat is in a hot humid location I can see the advantage of having a small constant air flow.

Didn't realize 3700 also shares the same vent.

We are lucky to have many parts still available/compatible on the market for our boats. Even though Maxum brand is gone, to me, it is one of the great reasons to buy/own a boat made by a boat company who's parent company was Brunswick.
