Anchor roller.... - Maxum Boat Owners Club

I have a new anchor roller in need to put in. Does anybody have any tricks or tips for this job?? I really don't want to have to pull the lower plastic panel under the bow. Being plastic and everything maxum put together has that freaky strong adhesive.....I'm afraid of breaking the plastic....any help brain trust???

Only options I know are to pull the plastic using a heat gun to help soften the adhesive and a putty knife. Otherwise cut the old one out and install a new one that comes with a bracket that has flange that mounts to the top of the opening.

Mike, I already have a new roller. Just need to install. Was just hoping to find somebody that has had this area of their boat apart....
