Default 99 4100 sca steering

How do you check the steering fluid level? I found the sea star ram but can't find the reservoir. Does it need to be pressurized?

Look for a little cap right in front of the wheel. You should see fluid right below the cap threads.

I've got a 98 4100 sca and there's also a reservoir on the back wall, starboard side of the engine compartment. it is pressurized, but i'm not sure what it is right off the top of my head. If your label is not on it, i'm going down to mine tomorrow and can get you the info. It's pretty easy to get to from inside the rear stateroom entrance

Default That reservoir controls the transmission and uses antifreeze . The steering does not
