Default 98 Maxum 3700SCR water ingestion issue

I am having a water ingestion issue on my boat equipped with 502 Merc engines. Last year the engines were rebuilt with OEM parts, resonator, turbulators and 6 inch risers were utilized in the rebuild. The exhaust manifolds were six months old at the time. Nothing was done with the exhaust/muffler layout. Ten months later I have water in the engine oil.
Has anyone found a solution to this problem?
Thanks
Kevin

The solution will depend on how the water is entering.

Default Water ingestion issue

I wasn't clear, the issue is apparently related to reversion, where the seawater left in the exhaust is pulled back into the heads due to back pressure. I'm no mechanic so may not be describing it perfectly, but the issue was covered in the 2001 Mercruiser TA re 454/502 engines. Just wondering if others have done anything more than the resonator/turbulator/riser fixes suggested in the TA.
