Default 4600 SCB Dinette Cushions

We bought a new to us 2000 4600 SCB in December. The admiral wants to recover the seat bottom cushions. Does anyone or has anyone removed the forward cushion? It appears that the headliner must be removed in the guest cabin. Any help would be appreciated.

Don

If you remove the panel that's to the right as you enter the guest quarters you have access to a few large screws that hold the seat back in position. Once they are out you can lift the whole unit up and out of clips that hold it in place. We took it to an upholsterer and it turned out well. Pic attached.

Regards,
Steve

There are buttons that cover the screws holding the piece in place. Remove them, unscrew and work it out. Then you can remove the screws holding the seat in place which are accessible after the panel is out. After the screws are removed the whole piece is lifted up out of clips holding it in place.
