4100 SCR waterpumps

Hello, I have a 1996 4100 scr with cummins 420's. I have two questions: how does anyone service the outboard side of these motors? i cannot reach/fit between the tank/exhaust and motor? one i can't reach the oil filter the other i cant reach the water pump or remove the aftercooler. the second question is where is the high water alarm sensor? i would like to be sure this works. Thank you
